This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed when you use Space Surge (the “Game”). The Game is developed and published by Stanislav Metenko, an individual developer based in Ukraine (“we”, “us”, “the developer”).
1.Data the Game itself collects
The Game has no accounts, no registration and no sign-in, and it does not collect personal information such as your name, e-mail address or phone number.
Your progress — upgrade levels, earned credits, crafted equipment, volume settings, statistics and achievements — is stored locally on your device in the Game's save file. It is never uploaded to us or to anyone else. You can erase it at any time using Settings → Reset progress, or by uninstalling the Game.
2.Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Game shows optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob: watching an ad grants an in-game reward (for example, a revive or doubled run credits). Watching ads is entirely voluntary and is never required to play.
To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier and other technical data in accordance with Google's own policies:
We have no access to that data and do not control how Google processes it.
3.Analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase)
The Game uses Google Firebase — Analytics and Crashlytics:
- Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage statistics: session starts and length, Game version, device model, operating-system version, approximate country, an app instance identifier generated for this installation, and in-game events such as a run starting or ending, level-ups, boss defeats and achievement unlocks. This shows how players use the Game as a whole and does not identify you personally.
- Firebase Crashlytics sends crash and freeze reports: the state of the app at the moment of the failure, device model, OS version and Game version. This is used to find and fix bugs.
The data is processed by Google acting as our service provider:
4.Consent and your choices
Data collection starts switched off. On first launch the Game presents Google's consent message (User Messaging Platform); analytics collection and personalised advertising are enabled only after you have answered it.
You can change your choices at any time:
- reset or delete your advertising identifier, and opt out of ads personalisation, in your device settings (on Android: Settings → Google → Ads);
- erase all locally stored progress with Settings → Reset progress inside the Game;
- uninstall the Game, which removes all local data from your device.
5.App permissions
The Game requests only INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE. Both are
needed to load and display ads and to send analytics and crash reports. The Game does
not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, files or
photo gallery.
6.Sharing with third parties
Apart from Google AdMob (section 2) and Google Firebase (section 3), the Game does not transmit any data to third parties. We do not sell your data and we do not operate any advertising or profiling of our own.
7.Data retention
Data stored on your device stays there until you reset progress or uninstall the Game — we have no way to reach it. Data collected by Google through AdMob and Firebase is retained by Google in accordance with its own published retention policies, linked above.
8.Children
The Game is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from users of any age. Its AdMob configuration is not tagged for child-directed treatment. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at the address in section 10 and we will act on it.
9.Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, erase or object to the processing of your personal data. Because we hold no personal data about you ourselves, in practice:
- data stored on your device is under your direct control (see section 4);
- requests concerning data collected by Google via AdMob or Firebase should be addressed to Google;
- for anything else, write to us — see section 10.
10.Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy — for example, when a new SDK is added to the Game. The current
version is always available inside the Game (Settings → Privacy Policy) and at this
public address:
